R.F.K.Jr. was a candidate in the presidential election for the Libertarian party. However he is not advancing after primaries as he is not the nominee for the libertarian party. Since this change Mr. Kennedy confirmed that the Trump administration asked him to be involved at a high level. If Donald Trump is elected he is set to be working with a team on public health investigating the “toxins” behind chronic health issues in children. 

One in every six women struggle with infertility and many resort to in-vitro fertilization. This process involves having mature eggs from ovaries and then fertilizing them in the lab. These embryos are then placed into the uterus in a procedure to mature. The issue is that Alabama ruled that the embryos in the lab are considered children. This ruling massively impacts healthcare as in IVF multiple embryos are made and only the ones most likely to survive are kept. Therefore this ruling could make discarding the extra embryos considered murdering a child.

The FDA recently gave approval for Florida to import drugs from Canada. This will allow Floridians to buy directly from Canadian pharmacies. The reason for this is that Canadian drug prices are much cheaper than ours. This policy should spread to other states as well if initial implementation goes right. Government officials are hoping that this action will help reign in the price of our drugs. 

You will always hear discussions on what type of food you should be eating. This discourse comes from the government, schools, and influencers as they try to inform you what they believe is healthy. The issue with this is that it seems that everyone doesn't have the same view. Therefore, the overall question is, "How did this confusion start?”

A somewhat recent movie that you might have enjoyed as I did is Enola Holmes 2. In this movie there was a worker union fighting against the obscene working conditions. Of course, this was based off of the actual Match girl strikes in Britain. However, it also does reflect the many worker unions in the United States in the early 1900s, which is when the movie was set. 

On June 7th of 2023 the air quality in New York reached an unprecedented low for the US. Which was caused by Wildfires happening in nearby Canadian forests. Researchers say that New Yorkers were exposed to levels of pollution more than five times above the national air quality standard on that day.
